This blog is to show off two projects Chrissee worked on last week. The first was an assignment, which means she was frustrated as all get out to have it perfect. The second was shear joy. I think you can tell from the look on her face which is which.

We weren't feeling well around these parts one weekend. When that happens, I completely overlook the number of hours the television is on. Chrissee watched two FULL seasons of "Cake Boss" in one weekend. The following week was the birthday of one of her best friends.
Inspiration!! Suddenly, my daughter was in the kitchen making pound cake and rolling out fondunt. The end result was a three-tiered Cookie Monster cake for Bryn's birthday all wrapped up in a box so he couldn't see. The thing that surprised Bryn the most was that she worked so hard on a gift she couldn't enjoy herself.
