Christmas Concert Week (Bethany's Solo)

With three talented girls busy in their school choirs and bands, you can imagine that we have a lot of concerts to go to.  We felt truly blessed that none of the concerts were scheduled on the same night or time.  (Some parents weren't so lucky.)  The night before Bethany's concert, she came home and told us she had been chosen for a SOLO!  Knowing it was the next night was both exciting and a little nerve wracking.  James was stuck in horrible traffic driving up from Sandy so Grandmere and I decided we would take Bethany.  (We had to pick up her friend, Kayleen, whose parents were stuck going to seperate concerts already and missing hers.)

I'd like to say that I recorded some awesome video footage.  But, James made it home in time to bring Gabrie and Sam to the concert to support Bethany.  Except, they had already sat through two concerts that week and decided to be obnoxious.  Samuel punched me in the face with my camera just as Bethany began her solo trying to flip himself off of my lap.  Talk about one grumpy, disappointed mom.  So, you'll have to take my word for it when I say that Beth was awesome.  Her voice was clear, her timing was on, she remembered her words.  And it was lovely - even with my nose on fire.
