Five Kids / ONE Cavity

This afternoon, Rebecca ventured to our favorite dentist EVER with all five children in tow for their bi-annual check up and cleaning. The older girls have, thankfully (and with the help of this dentist's crew), gotten over their earlier dental fears. So, going to the dentist is just another outting. However, Rebecca was a little nervous for Samuel who would be experiencing his very first teeth-counting-tickling adventure. The dental assistant said she'd just count a little, but he was so relaxed, she decided to show him the tools. The demonstration turned into a full teeth cleaning and examination by the dentist. Samuel was SO GOOD!! He even handled the sticky flouride "paint job" at the end. It turns out that Samuel's laid back disposition was not only a relief for Rebecca, but allowed the dentist to find his first tiny cavity. Gabriella also had cavities by three-and-a-half, but hers were worse and much deeper. What a gift to find it early! Not one of the girls had any worries with their teeth. Daelynn was told to get her loose ones out (she has three) and Bethany was told she has a $5000 smile - no gaps, overbites, underbites, or crooked anything in there. SWEET!! (Or, in Bethany's own words - GO ART!!)

If you haven't taken your little ones to the dentist, we can definately recommend ours.
