Sunday Fireworks

Every year in O-town, the Lindquist family sponsors a Pops Concert complete with fireworks. It usually coincides with a big Sunday "fireside" at the Dee Event Center with one of the apostles of the LDS Church. July is a month to celebrate freedom, independence, and the pioneering effort it takes to live a life that makes a difference. We're just lucky enough to live so close to the festivities that we have "reserved" parking.
Bethany is flagging down the traffic to let them know ours is NOT a through street. (The line of brake lights nearly made it to our driveway again this year.)
We aren't sure what the head count is, but people set up blankets and chairs a couple of days in advance and then come hours early to ensure great seating.

The view from our front lawn... The Pops Concert isn't nearly as spectacular from our front yard, only a few distant notes can be heard.

Ooooh.... Aaaaah...

Rachel and Chrissee joined Rebecca in singing the National Anthem... and several show tunes that brought on the giggles.

The Grand finale? Chrissee notes that this show always has one in the middle to throw the spectators off.

Pick a card any card... Bethany's got her poker face ready to play as the sun sets.
(Someday, the pictures will be in order!)
