Jailed Birds and Silly Girls

Almost a year ago, a friend asked me if I would want to join a group called "Silly Girls United."  These groups around the globe follow a monthly photographic theme, getting together to create laughter and magic.  It took a long time to finally work out our schedules and such.  We finally decided to just have the two of us plus our girls because coordinating stuff with other moms is a bit of a nightmare.  (If you don't know why, please note that mother's are not just packing around their own calendars, but the calendars of their husbands, extended families, the school board, their church, AND each one of their kids.)

We took April's theme of "Jailbirds" to a completely different place from anyone else in the world.  (Let's just say there was a lot of stripes and matted hair.)  But, we had so much fun!  We're gathering costumes for May's "Children's Book" theme.  And welcome all who'd like to get in on this.  To check out the website go here: Silly Girls United.
