Thanksgiving Weekend

Dakota (8), Liberty (2), Steve, Jericho ( 7 mths), Lisa, and Hunter (6) after playing at the Castle Heights playground.
Rebecca's crew is growing bigger too. Bethany (12), Chrissee (14), Gabriella (4), Daelynn (11), Samuel (2), and Rebecca. James worked today and missed out on some fun.
Jason and James diggin' on the after dinner conversation.
Uncle John helping little man Jericho to walk while Michelle talks to Lisa.
This years "Thanks Giving Turkey" included Gabriella's "I'm thankful for ME" and Bethany's "home sweet home."
Mother and Child
The cousins played game after game after game - Sorry, Monopoly, Ghost in the Graveyard, WebKins, and Dance-Dance Revolution. It was like they were trying to squeeze in enough fun to last the next six months before we'll see each other again.
Hunter be jammin'... for HOURS. We were all impressed with little mans rythmn skills. So much so, that his mom and dad discussed drum lessons over piano.

Mary dropped in with Ko-Ko Puff between other Thanksgiving dinners. We think he's tripled in size in the last two months.
What do you mean cousins have to go back home?!

This year was full of a little less family and a little more homework, but no less love than ever before. Rebecca did most of the baking on her own. Chrissee dressed the turkey with a little bit of Emeril BAM!! (muy delicioso) And Lisa helped finish everything up when Rebecca crashed for a nap in the late afternoon. (Thank goodness for sisters.) But, the best thing about this weekend wasn't the meal. It was the COUSIN CHAOS. For some reason, these little ones can live a world away from and still manage to be great friends when they get together.

Some highlights from the weekend were definately the pie and our trip to the park. We sure love when cousins come to visit!

Now, wish us luck. James and Rebecca are moving on to FINALS. :)
