An "accolade" is an award, honor, or laudatory notice. In this case, the award was a Senior ball...one last dance before adulthood teaches some of them that grown-ups don't dance. (Thank heaven I never got that message.) For this dance, Chrissee asked a long-time friend who has been attending a different high school. Re-introducing them after so long was half blind date, half long lost friend.
Both of these young ones graduated this year. Both have big plans and years of school ahead of them, but, for now, there were lots of laughs and sweet memories between a true gentleman and my little lady.
