Would a school year in the Samford household be complete without a musical?! Absolutely not.
So, this year, Bethany joined her school production of Beauty and the Beast as Narrator, Townsperson, and Spoon. That's right. Spoon.
| Bethany opened the play as Narrator. Her co-narrator, Daniel Toscano, was her "husband" in last year's play. |
| The Enchantress has come with a request. |
| Belle reads her favorite book. |
| The townspeople think there's something "odd" about Belle. |
| I think it might be her father that's a little "odd". |
| Gaston tells the girls his plans to marry Belle. |
| Mrs. Potts and Madame Armoire show Belle her new room. |
| Drinking to Gaston |
| cuz he's roughly the size of a barge! |
| Cogsworth gives the tour |
| Try the gray stuff, it's delicious, don't believe me? Ask...Bethany -- she's one of the dishes! |
| Later, the dish ran away with the spoon |
| Tale as old as time |
| The Beast is a Prince again and Bethany couldn't be happier |
| Daelynn and Autumn celebrate |
| Kristi Sunday came to see the show |
| Bethany is FANTASTIC |
| Bethany, Belle, Daniel, and Bret after the show |
Bethany worked so hard on this play, we get to go shopping for new pants! It was so awesome, I got a little teary. One fun thing about living in an area so long is watching all of the kids and friends growing up. From year to year, they don't always keep the same best friends, but Bethany has surrounded herself with friends that value school, work hard, and treat her well. That's what brings on the happily ever afters...
