Chrissee came home from her Pioneer Trek late on Saturday afternoon. She was so stiff and sore and dirty. But happy. (Just the way a mom
likes to see her kids.) After picking up her trail gear, she remembered she needed lunch supplies for Monday because Marching Band Camp was hot on our heels. Rebecca and Chrissee went to the grocery store where Rebecca noticed Chrissee limping. Chrissee said, "Well, I got ran over by the steel-rimmed handcart."
"Really?!"
Apparently there was a baby and an irresponsible brother involved. Off to the Urgent Care they went because there wasn't time to watch the bruising. Doctor Hassrick said he didn't see a fracture but would have the radiologist look at it. (That's what they told Rebecca about her coccyx... turn out to be broken and not just dislocated.) So, they all discussed options and chose...
THE BOOT.
Good luck marchin' in that, darlin'!!
Chrissee's unpacking her Trek gear to repack what she needs for camp and showing off her new Tiger pedicure and boot.
OUCH!! I hope it gets better really quickly!
