Today, we made our way to the Botanical Gardens to snap some portraits of Gabrie and Samuel. There was a lot of prep beforehand -- Gabrie wanted curlers and Samuel wanted a faux-hawk. We left the house with a fresh coat of paint on all 20 fingers and both bicycles in the trunk of the Tangerine Dream. (Yes, Samuel wanted polish on his nails too!)
Our portraits are minus flowers because there was a wedding party and reception, but we did enjoy the addition of a very well-behaved Boxer-Lab mixed that Chrissee lovingly named "Fabio." We didn't keep him. (We couldn't really, with the inability to completely fence in the back portion of our yard and the close proximity of a high traffic road.) Instead, we called the local Animal Control division and let him follow us around until the arrived.
These are in what is called "Hope" filter. It's Samuel's current favorite and, in sending Fabio off into the system we hold on to hope that someone will adopt him and enjoy his friendship for years to come.
