Thirteen going on Thirty

Trying on her new hat
Daelynn turned thirteen this November.  We celebrated on Sunday with pumpkin rolls and pasta -- for a celiac?!  Absolutely.  We have that down.  In fact, we made the whole day of it.  It was fantastic.  Music and dancing and so much laughing.  The girls turned on "Red" and were awed by Bruce Willis awesomeness while tossing grapes across the room hoping to make it into each other's mouths.

Daelynn is busy being a seventh grader... p.s. seventh grade is hard... science projects, math homework, writing papers.  She's even learning to play the clarinet and I love to hear it.

Having "teen" tagged on the end of your ears makes everything fun and fresh and full of hope (okay, there's all of the opposites to that as well)  and I am looking forward to it.  Happy Birthday lovely!
