Professor Hill convinces the town that a pool hall is bad news for the boys and they MUST begin a band.
The costumes were a delight and all of the townspeople full of busy-body gossip... "pick a little talk a little - cheep! cheep! cheep! - peck a lot talk a little" is a great rendition of the cackling hens.
Bethany didn't speak or have a solo role this year (cuz she's a 7th grader) but she had a defined role and was very expressive.
Turned out the band wasn't a complete scam after all.
Bethany and the Train Conductor (her husband for this production.)Monday night will wrap up the last of this year's MOMS musical production. We've all missed having Bethany around and she's missed playing with neighborhood friends and just hanging out with her family after school. Play practise began in December and became a daily event throughout January with twelve hour days for the students involved.
All that hard work and practise paid off though. Quinn, who has never been to a musical, said it was wonderful and he'd be sure to go again the next time one of the girls had an event like this.
